An 11 by 11 inch abstract acrylic painting of bold colors inspired by nature with hand sewn lavender cotton cording weaving like tracks across the path. Copper and lime green squiggles fill the spaces in between. Deep blue lakes are connected to sparkling green rivers, giving life to a large orange and red bloom. Framed in a ready-to-hang brushed gold frame.

The inspiration for this painting is from a camping trip to Montana in the summer of 2016. I was awed by the nature, beauty, and landscape of the state. I was drawn to the rivers, lakes, and abundant wildflowers. On hikes I wondered about all the paths that life creates across land, tracks of human, animal, and insects criss-crossing on the ground. This painting is a homage to some wonderful summertime fun in the Montana countryside.
